Join us for a powerful and immersive afternoon exploring balance in its truest form — hot and cold, effort and ease, Yang and Yin. This workshop has been thoughtfully designed to create symmetry within your practice and within yourself, inviting you to experience what it really means to move and rest in harmony.

We’ll begin with a dynamic 90-minute Yang/Yin practice, building heat, strength and flow before gradually softening into deeper, slower holds that allow the nervous system to settle. Expect intentional sequencing, intelligent transitions, and space to really feel the contrast between activation and surrender.

From there, we’ll transition seamlessly into a 90-minute sound bath led by the incredible Hannah Rose — a South London sound practitioner whose Saturn gong quite literally rocks your world. Through layered sound, vibration and resonance, you’ll be guided into deep rest and recalibration, allowing the work of the practice to fully integrate.

Our workshop schedule:

  • 2pm arrival, drinks and snacks provided before practice, taking time to get settled.

  • Building energy and warmth in the first part of the practice with a power yoga flow, building from Hatha principles.

  • Moving into the restorative part of practice we will start to prop more and soften into postures for longer, creating deeper sensations and preparing for rest.

  • Savasana will overlap into our sound healing practice. Gongs will chime and wash over the body until we are 'bathing' in sound.

  • Coming out of sound with a short gratitude meditation, before closing our session.

  • "Life is a balance of holding on and letting go"

    Rumi

  • "Yoga is a dance between control and surrender—between pushing and letting go—and when to push and when to let go becomes part of the creative process, part of the open-ended exploration of your being.”

    Joel Kramer

  • "The key to keeping your balance is knowing when you've lost it."

    Anon.
